Linda’s business journey and how Ashlinc Digital came to be:
Linda, a creative at heart, wanted to work in marketing since stumbling across Melrose Place as a tweenager (if you’re old enough to remember – Allison worked in advertising and her job appeared oh so exciting!).
Linda eagerly embarked on her career in communications and marketing straight out of university. While her passion for creativity was unwavering, the limitations of corporate life eventually took their toll. Disheartened by the restrictions of 9-5 (more like 7-6) corporate life, and the glass ceiling women often face in male-dominated work environments, she decided to work for herself.
The idea of starting her own business had been brewing for over a decade, and 18 months after the birth of her youngest child, Linda seized the opportunity. With a background in writing and email marketing, she launched Ashlinc Digital, initially as a copywriting freelance business.. However, after witnessing countless frustrated clients struggling with subpar websites, chaotic email automation, and misguided strategies, Linda expanded her services to help people get better ROI on their marketing investments.
Today, Linda operates Ashlinc Digital with help from a small team of designers, developers, and a dynamic marketing assistant. Together, they bring her client’s visions to life, whether it’s creating new websites, crafting marketing automation systems, delivering direct-response copywriting, or formulating digital marketing strategies.
