Happy New Year!

I hope you've dived into 2019 with a cracking Happy New Year start already! I know I'm trying to shake off the holiday excess (hello ham and rose and some extra KG's!) but I'm silly excited about what's in store for this year.

I'm not sure about you, but for me, 2018 was quite the transformative year. It was incredibly painful at times, both in business and in my personal life. I messed up time and time again. I overspent, overcommitted, overate (and drank!) and didn't take enough care of myself. I also didn't give myself enough credit for what I did accomplish - for which I'm sure you are also guilty of....?

But what I've also done is recognise and acknowledge that I am human. I need to be kind to myself and that in all of the perceived failures, are lessons. And for those, I am truly grateful. And I know I'm not alone in saying that 2018 was a challenging year. Many have come to me and said:

"I'm working more hours than ever before.. but where is the money?!"

"I'm overwhelmed, lost and not sure what to do next to grow my business"

"Jodie, it feels like NOTHING is working... Something NEEDS TO GIVE!"

"My partner is ON MY CASE about bringing in some money. Can't he/she see how hard I'm working?!'

Well, let me say I hear you. And you are not alone...

You see I spend my working week helping others with their online stores and see it first hand.. every. single. day.

I'm in other women's corners cheering them on, steering them in the right direction, cutting through the noise and helping them build profitable businesses.

Whether it's helping them to assess what is going on in their business (or life!) and prescribing actions and strategies to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals; or it might be new teaching them new technical skills such as how to create their own Facebook ads.

So what I also hear is:

"Jodie, I couldn't have done it without you"

"I feel so supported and heard - thank you!"

"I'm so grateful I found you"

"Jodie you are a credit to yourself and I need to share you with the world! You are so inspiring, so patient and so supportive. Thank you!"

So let me ask the question again.

IS THIS IS YOUR YEAR?

And for a brief overview of my year here goes... my year in a snapshot:

iland co.'s revenue increased 150% on the previous year, and at times I felt the brand, and the business was moving at such speed, I couldn't keep up. I've managed to catch up with the runaway train, and now have a clear vision for 2019.  I understand my customer's needs and wants better, streamlined systems and processes and added to the team.

In my coaching and mentoring business, I have helped almost 100 women with their online stores via my 8-week intensive program and my longer term VIP Mastermind. It's such an honour to walk side-by-side other women building their online, and I pinch myself every day that I'm in this position to share my knowledge and experience with others.

In 2018 I travelled to Bali, China and even a week spent at UCLA in the USA with 25 other powerhouse women in business.

It really was an awesome year.
