5 social media scheduling tools
The new financial year makes me feel like I get a second chance at New Year and is also a time I like to really ramp things up with the help of Social Media Scheduling Tools.
One thing that often gets to pushed to the bottom of my to-do list is social media... I'm not going to lie... Social Media posting feels like a total chore for me. I totally get the value in it, but I just ... welll.. don't love it.
Which is why I'm all for batching via scheduling tools!
Now... I don't advocate a 'set and forget' approach for anyone's social media...because after all... it is a SOCIAL platform. We are supposed to be building our tribes, engaging with our audience etc. But sometimes I just don't have the time - which is where these awesome tools come into play.
So here are my Top 5 Social Media Scheduling Tools. Some i've used in the past and retired, some are used by team and same are still my absolute favs.

My Top 5 Social Media Scheduling Tools
BUFFER hase a great, easy to use interface PLUS lets you link ALL your social media profiles including Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook Pages, Profiles and groups! Buffer offers a free plan option that allows you to link a single account to experience the platform. In comparison to other platforms, Buffer's paid plans remain the most affordable.
I LOVE later.com for my IG scheduling. It's super easy to use and the paid feature offers Hashtag research options, Story scheduling in more. I love that you can use both your desktop computer or the app to schedule (I prefer using my desktop) and it allows you to preview your feed.
The newest kid on the block - MeetEdgar was the first tool that utilised content libraries. The previous two tools (Buffer + Hootsuite) require each post to be scheduled manually and once posted, those posts are gone until you manually reschedule them again in the timeline. MeetEdgar took a different approach. Instead of scheduling individual posts - you schedule themes and then set up libraries of content for each theme. As the scheduled time roles around, MeetEdgar pulls from the library and posts for you. If your business can reshare content (instead of each post being unique) then this is the platform for you. It's a little more expensive than the previous two but still cost-effective. A free trial is available.
This tool is purely for Instagram and allows you to plan your posts in advance using a simple drag and drop builder. Fantastic tool for being able to keep the look and feel of your Insta posts consistent and on brand. Planoly provides a free trial period if you want to give this beautiful little platform a spin.
PLANN (also known as PLANNTHAT)
Similar to Planoly, PLANN allows you to plan and schedule your Instagram posts in advanced AND your Insta Stories. PLANN also provides some great analytics which you can utilise to refine your marketing strategy and direction as your audience grows. Easy to use and provides a great looking interface.
It's a big list I know...but my hope is one of these platforms is exactly what you need for where you are in your business right now!
