3 Reasons to say yes to a mastermind

Masterminds may seem to be relatively new however the concept of a Mastermind can be traced back 75 years to Napolean Hill and his inspirational classic, Think and Grow Rich.

Napolean Hill describes the Mastermind principle as "The coordination of knowledge and effort between two or more people who work towards a definite purpose in a spirit of harmony…no two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind..."

In more recent years, Masterminds have become increasingly popular as a way for new business owners to connect, learn and grow.

Owning an online business can feel isolating and overwhelming and I know in the past, being part of a mastermind and participating fully has allowed me to move beyond any negative mindset plus I've now grown two successful businesses in a relatively short amount of time.

But how do you know if a mastermind is the right next step for you?

Find Your Tribe

Masterminds generally involve an application process so that the integrity of the group can be preserved and the dynamics are balanced. Once approved, you are usually given an opportunity to provide an intro and then hear what each of the members in the group is working on.

Once you join a mastermind, the connection opportunities are endless!

You become part of a community of like-minded individuals who might make recommendations, provide referrals, share an outside point of view you may not have considered previously, and more!

The connections I have made with fellow business owners while participating in masterminds has been so valuable to me and my business. I gained lifelong friends, loads of support and sometimes a dose of tough love when it was required.

With the connection and trust I gained from being involved in the group, I was able to scale my business to new heights and consider an even bigger picture for the future. I improved efficiencies, made new hires from recommended providers, and chased down my biggest dreams with confidence.

And the best part - Masterminds are private and confidential. Whatever is discussed within the group, stays in the group.
