So, it’s 2021. We’ve hung up our Santa hats, packed away the Bailey’s for another year and for many of us, we’re getting back into the full swing of everyday life. What does that look like for you in the business realm? Starting the online store, growing the online store, maybe even catapulting the online store? Would eCommerce mentoring help you?
At iland co., my online fashion business (what I do when I’m not mentoring), we’ve seen some big changes, and for the better. Despite the literal clusterbang of 2020, complete with the screeching halt of travel and socialisation, our online store did a thing: it tripled profits.
Take a second to let that sink in.
An industry we thought our business relied on effectively stopped, and that didn’t kill us. It grew us.
In my opinion, this tells us something massive about online shopping in the fashion and lifestyle industry: that eCommerce is borderless and barrierless.
It doesn’t care what the world is doing (or not doing, in our case). Unlike stock markets, or service industries, people are still shopping online for things that can be delivered to them in the comfort of their homes. They’re still buying. In fact, they’re buying more.
There are only a few things you need to be working at maximum efficiency in order to make your online store a success. In fact, about seven things. And once you’ve nailed them, there’s happiness, freedom and of course, massive profit to be gained. So, with that, I’m really excited to share:
In the past, I’ve helped people like Deb, owner of Stoked NZ to increase her revenue by over 1000%, adding almost 50% to her average dollar order. And Egidia, of Awards Fashion, to double her sales, increase her traffic by 100% and improve her conversion rate by 227%.
That’s great, and I’m proud of their success.
But in 2021, I’m doing things a little differently. The word for my coaching arm for the year is specific, and I’ve been working behind-the-scenes to really nut this down in my offering now.
